Native-American proverb
I have just read this insightful proverb, which is attributed to Native-Americans (aka American Indians):
Those living closest to the falls never hear the roar.
*****
I was wondering whether this would be an example:
Native speakers of English are accustomed to the rules, exceptions, and peculiarities of the English language.
Thus, it is sometimes difficult for some native speakers to realize how incredibily difficult it may be for learners
to grasp certain nuances of grammar, pronunciation, and spelling.
THANK YOU

Re: Native-American proverb
Well your observation is true of native speakers of ANY language? Don't you think?
