| Re: Jury is still out MW, In a court of law in the US, the jury must decide the guilt or innocence of a defendant out of the courtroom. If the "jury is still out," the case is still undecided. So when someone says that "the jury is still out" on something, it means that the final answer or resolution has not been decided. PJ |
