Default What does this mean ?

The following sentences appear in a song by "the streets" -> World feels like it’s caved in – proper sorry frown. I don't know what the "Proper Sorry Frown" means.
Is it that you are completely knocked down by the pear-shaped situation you are into ? That "Your world can be more caved in"
Thanks in advance
Kind regards.

To me, it sounds as if he just wants to say that his frown is genuine.

'Proper' is used colloquially to mean good/right/correct.

i think that in this context he is saying the world or things are in a bad way. so not dissimilar to what you thought originally.

hope that helps!

Hi studygirl,

Yep, I'm with you when you say that it is negative here. I know what the word "proper" means also in this context. It emphesises the fact that things are seriously wrong
The whole sentence is probably just used as an extra confirmation.

Kind Regards

Proper - some idiots use this to mean really, so it's saying he has a really sorry frown.

Basically he's saying that, yep, everything is knocked down and over and he's very sad/sorry for it.

Personally I try to avoid this song
