"Seen in this light" means to give a different perspective to something. For example, someone is arrested for stealing food from a store. It certainly appears that he should go to prison. However, when he explains his circumstances, it turns out that the man is homeless and starving. Seen in that light, the judge might take pity on him and give him probation instead.
"As it should be" means the proper or correct manner.

The meaning of "Seen in this light" and "as it should be" ? I can't find the meaning of "Seen in this light, ..." and "...as it should be" in the dictionary. Could anyone help me?
