| I heard the expression "walk on slot" on tv the other day. I gathered it means something like have a hard time, but I´m not sure. Is that correct? Is it a common expression? Thanks a lot. |

Hello mnf. I have heard of a "walk-in slot". In centres where such things as counselling or medical advice are given, it means a time when people can drop-in without making an appointment (perhaps during their lunch hour). Is it possible that you misheard "walk-in" and thought it was "walk on"? Regards, Fieldmouse |

| Isn't a walk-on slot a bit or guest role in something? |

| I guess it is. I´ve been told that a walk-on slot is a small role. Thank you! |
