I have read "nine lives of a cat".
I am not sure if this is an idiom.... Its is just said as cats survive from tough situations.

cat has nine lives
As far as I know this is a proverb.

cat has nine lives= Cats can survive things that are severe enough to kill them.

But this proverb would be only applicable on cats I guess...... Or can we use it in daily life with people too?

In my OPINION, this proverb is aplicable both on people and animals. You can use it in everyday life.

Mostly about dresses..
I try NOT to make them when I see someone else, but.... Its difficult to stop
