| I would like to know if the expression "give a monkey half a brain' is an idiom, and if so, could someone explain the meaning? Thanks for help (sorry if this question has already been asked |

| Its a derogatory remark. For instance, if you experience somthing that someone has been done badly (a piece of work or a task) then you could say 'You see what happens when you give a monkey half a brain' the 'monkey being the person who made the mess. Not very nice |
