Could it just be the name of a company?

I'm trying to find out why this particular sort of racks is called "speed". And how to translate it into Polish.
Maybe you know the difference between racks and speed racks.
I'd appreciate your help.

Below is the discussion that we have had on the same subject on a Polish forum - I think the explanation does not leave any doubts. However, you're right - it is a name of a company, too.
Thank you for your contribution. Regards. Imogena
I think "speed" in this context is more about the location and quick access to the contents of the rack:
![]()
Cytat: 3. Speed Rack: Where house brands are kept. Liquor used in drinks when your guests does not request a specific brand. Usually house brands are cheapter than the bottles that are displayed where guests can see (oftentimes in front of a bar mirror). http://www.cocktailtimes.com/homebar/structure.shtml
Cytat: Speed Rack A rack at thigh level where the well liquors are kept. The most used items are kept here for quick access by the bartender. http://www.accubar.com/Products/glossary.asp
Maybe there isn't an accepted translation of the term into Polish:
Cytat: Istnieje możliwość zamówienia speed racków w naszej firmie www.shaker.pl (cenny podane w sklepie są cenami brutto). http://www.bartender.pl/index.php?op...=1247&catid=18
OK- it does imply speed of access there. Sorry; I had no idea about the types of racks.![]()
