Question Proverb

We have a Polish proverb, "Don't praise a day before a sunset." Is there anything like this in English?

Best,
Nyggus

Don't count your chickens until they've hatched.

Is that the same idea- wait until the results are in.

Hi,
There are some more:
1. Don’t cackle until your egg is laid.
2. Don’t sell the bear’s skin before you’ve caught him.
And here’s one that seems to be the closest – I don’t know how common it is, though:
3. Before the morning is away praise not the glory of the day.
Cheers
