    So bored that your eyes glaze over, your breathing slows down, and someone could stick a pin in you and you wouldn't notice. So bored that an insurance seminar suddenly sounds like an exciting alternative.

    BTW, in AmE, we usually say "bored senseless" or "bored silly."

    Often, witless is used as a euphemism for the vulagrity, sh*tless, especially in the expression, "I was scared witless."
