Hi there, I'm not English so I have found it hard to find a collection of 60 sayings, proverbs, etc just from obscure clues. However I have found all but 3 and I really need help with them:)
WYTITWYHBA which are the first letters of each word of the saying, and the clue is: Are your valuables in your chest?
LTPLMWBFLO and the clue is: small but don't be fooled
BATWMFTSBC and the clue is: weeping but warmed
Also if anyone could comfirm that one for me I would be very grateful:)
TATWFNM, Canute's lesson, it's time and tide wait for no man, right?
I would be so very grateful for any help, thanks in advance :)![]()

Where your treasure is, there will thy heart be also (Mathhew 6:21)

Little things please little minds while bigger fools look on
BATWMFTSBC and the clue is: weeping but warmed
Hey, two out of three isn't bad. The way I did the first, as nothing came to mind, was a bit of a cheat. I assumed that valuables would be treasure, from YT and that chest would be heart from the same process, then did a Google search for treasure heart idiom and got it. It might also work for 3, but I can't think what it would be- it could include tears, but that doesn;t help much.
Yes
Hello there, thank you so much for your help! I haven't worked out the third one yet but I'm working on it though it's driving me mad! Thanks again, you were a great help :)
I'm taking a guess at the third one, based on the initials and the clue:
Better at the warm man's feet than sitting being cold.
I have no idea if this is a saying or not.
I just wanted to say thanks for helping me with this and also to let whoever's interested know that I have found the last one on my list:
BATWMFTSBC, weeping but warmed
"Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted"
It drove me absolutely mad but I got it in the end!![]()
