Wink 'eat a humble pie' & ' eat crow' ---Wats d difference?

M not able to differentiate b/w 'eat a humble pie' & ' eat crow' ?
Plz specify are they synonym kind of thing or do we have some diff. b\w the two..

Both mean the same. 'To eat humble pie' is British English, and 'To eat crow' is American English
