Default "Lay one's eyes" vs "Set one's eyes"

    Hi

    Are the following same?

"Lay one's eyes" and "Set one's eyes"

I never set eyes on her again.

    Welcome, Tom.

In that context, they pretty much share the same meanings. That you never saw her again or that you chose not to see her again.

    All the best.
