Hello everyone!
Well, I know that there is actually a definition for this idiom but I didn't understand it pretty well, how is it used? I mean, can I say "I am a penny of your thought"?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Just say 'A penny for your thoughts' when you are interested in what someone is thinking about so hard.![]()
It is, of course, an old penny (of which there were 240 in a £, until 1971).
