Default Letīs write idioms

How about letīs write sentences here using two or more idioms in it. This is to practice and master the proper use of the idioms that we know.

Tdol, could you please explain what you mean by that?
Do you mean it should be of instead of off in "I washed my hands off something (gambling etc)?
