breakfast slot? hello,
what is a breakfast slot? programme, show? what is the meaning of slot here?
Can we also say dinner slot? or gardening slot?

Re: breakfast slot? It is the time slot allocated to that theme/programme in the early morning. There is no similar concept for evening broadcasting.
I can well believe that the programmers will talk about the gardening slot or the comedy slot or the children's show slot when planning their programmes.
