There's no accounting for taste
I think I get the basic gist of this phrase ("someone else's opinion is different from mine, but that's just the way it is") but could someone break it down for me and explain why it means what it means? Thanks!

...,but that's just the way it is (in life). Everybody has an opinion. Some people agree and some people disagree. That's just the way it is. You can't change it. You end up agreeing about/on one thing only: that you disagree.
