Can please anyone tell me about the above mentioned phrase...one more thing, Is that a phrase or a sentence?
I got this word from Ashlee simpson's song..."pieces of me"
can you just explain it to me...?:)
It's a phrase; a sentence needs a subject-verb pair. Pieces of me is a song title Ashlee Simpson - Pieces Of Me lyrics | LyricsMode.com, and what it refers to only the songwriter truly knows. To me, the phrase refers to the complexity of a person's thinking and behavior. In the song, she sings that the person she loves understands the pieces of her (life).
What do you think it means here?

Why did you use "in" in the above sentence? Can't we use "of" there?
If not, can you make me understand why not?
