    Default kiss my socks goodbye

    Hey everyone, what does "kiss my socks goodbye" mean?
    The person was using it in reference to traveling. "I will travel to Spain and after that i can kiss my socks goodbye until next year"
    Does it mean that he won't be traveling again? And why socks?

    The weather will be warm enough that he does not need to wear socks.

    He has another thought coming if he spends the winter there
