    Hi there,

"let's shake it out a little bit", what does that mean, let's make a little change?

    Hi,

I think you should give more details for the context.

"Shake it out" may mean "make it longer or larger"

Well, it's from Bee Movie, Barry was choosing some sweaters, and finally he got the one he liked and said: let's shake it out a little bit.

Was the sweater a bit dirty or had folds?

Actually, all the sweaters are the same, the bee sweater, you know, yellow and black, very clean.

Shake out in this context might be like making something to come out of whatever it is you are shaking. Let's shake it out =let's put it on.

But basicly shake out is a phrasal verb meaning to hold something such as a piece of cloth at one end and shake it up and down to get rid of dirt or folds.
    Wait for the confirmation, though.

I think Barry decided to wear (or to buy) that sweater after trying. Then he/she said " I shake it out now (=take out of my body), please let me have it"
