Hi there,
"let's shake it out a little bit", what does that mean, let's make a little change?
Hi,
I think you should give more details for the context.
"Shake it out" may mean "make it longer or larger"
Not a teacher.
Well, it's from Bee Movie, Barry was choosing some sweaters, and finally he got the one he liked and said: let's shake it out a little bit.
Actually, all the sweaters are the same, the bee sweater, you know, yellow and black, very clean.
Shake out in this context might be like making something to come out of whatever it is you are shaking. Let's shake it out =let's put it on.
But basicly shake out is a phrasal verb meaning to hold something such as a piece of cloth at one end and shake it up and down to get rid of dirt or folds.
Wait for the confirmation, though.
Sorry guys, got it wrong, it was shake it up, not shake it out.
I get it, thank you guys.
