Peaches and cream?
- If I protect you, yo life will be all peaches and cream.
What does "peaches and cream" mean in this sentence? Is that an idiom or something? Thanks!

In this context: You will never have to worry - everything will be provided and you will live in luxury.
It is also a collocation used to describe a fair complexion.

- especially the last part. I've met the expressions 'milk and honey' and 'a bed of roses' to refer to a life of luxury, but I think 'peaches and cream' is at best ill-chosen, and in my sterner moments I'd regard it as a mistake.
