Hi all :D,
Whats another word for 'rising to the occasion' e.g. i rise to the occasion under pressure [written in a CV]? The word means that you work even better under pressure.
Thanks
Q
"rise to the occasion" means to step up and do what has to be done.
No one wanted to give the speech. Then Bill rose to the occasion and toasted the bride and bridegroom.
I don't know one word to describe "rise to the occasion."
