That site is a softward devlopment compnay. They are coming out with a new product in 12 days. There is a countdown calendar showing how much time is left before the new product is launched.

The term "the monkeys have hit the button" MAY be an advertising expression to mean that the company staff has made the commitment and hit the countdown button. The countdown deadline is ticking!

I'm not really sure.

Or - it may be a play on words about a computer game.

I think it might either be the staff or a vague expression, much like

the blind leading the blind. . .

the inmates are running the asylum . . .

There is a computer game where the monkey must hit the button to advance to the next level. It may be a reference to that.
