To have all your ducks in a row means to have all your affairs/stuff/ in order, duties taken care of/ you pull everything together/ to have one's act together.

an example:

Peter wants to be approved for his bank loan but first he has to have all his ducks in a row: he needs a good credit history, a record of a steady employment and a downpayment of 10 thousand dollars.

Mary is remodelling her kitchen this year. She has a long list of things to do before she hires a designer and a contractor. Then she will have to do a lot of calling around to find the best deal. I am sure she will have all her ducks in a row before she is ready for the big project.

Why don't you, for a change, have all your ducks in a row and start applying yourself a little harder at school instead of running around with your friends, sitting on the computer or talking on the phone for hours!
