I wonder whether these examples of this idiom " Break the Bank"
make sense to my audiences :

1) Porto Cervo is expensive, but there are restaurants and bars near here that won't break the bank.
(Porto Cervo - a famous resort of Italy where there are many yachts
and yachts club for the rich people)

2) Allamanda Laguna Phuket is very expensive , but there are many restaurants and bars near here, as you can see, that won't break the bank.

3) Allamanda Laguna Phuket is very expensive, but there are many restaurants and bars, as you can see, near here that won't break the bank.

Does the verb " break" in this idiom mean definitely "destroy" ?
cos' I've to explain how this verb play which role when appears in this.

"Break the bank" comes from gambling, where a player who wins a massive sum has broken the casino's bank (essentially by winning more than the bank actually contains). So the implication in your sentences is that in fact these bars and restaurants are not so very expensive.

I'd like to point out the words " as you can see " in the items no.2 & 3 that does it make any differences in meaning when staying in different places cos' one of my foreign friends (not a teacher) said that item no. 2 doesn't make sense
