Is there any idiom of "eye pop out" and " has egg on his face "

1. His eyes nearly popped out = he was very surprised
2. He ended up with egg on his face = the situation turned out to be very embarrassing for him [because of something he had done badly]

In addition to the explanation from Mr P:
Both the expressions are idioms. There is no removal of the eye but they do look larger than normal (the expression of being very surprised), and there is no actual egg on someone's face.
However, the first one isn't on the list in the Idioms link, the second one is.
