Question Learning English via songs

Dear all.
I've seen this phrase

Rain in her heart and let the love we knew start to grow.
from the song Rhythm of the falling rain.

I don't understand what does RAIN IN HER HEART mean in this song

........
Please ask the sun to her heart aglow
Rain in her heart and let the love we knew start to grow
.................................................. .............
I think by myself.

Please ask the sun to set her heart aglow
EMOTIONLESS GIRL ! why didn;t let our love to develop.

I don;t know If it is right?
If someone know, please explain to me.
'm expecting for your reply
Your sincerely

Rain is needed by plants in order to grow. The singer is metaphorically hoping that this girl will love him.

There may also be a punning reference to the phrasal verb 'rein in' (as in 'rein in a horse' - that is, pull on the reins, so that it slows down). The heart in the song has - if it were a horse - 'bolted' (decided to run away) - so 'rein in her heart' would mean 'make her reaction against me less extreme'.

I've looked at the context (LISTEN TO THE RYTHM OF THE FALLING RAIN LYRICS - CASCADES ) and think my supposed pun was an idea that - while interesting - was a phantasm.
