| I would like to ask, what does this sentence mean: Normal people worry me? Does it mean, that I am worried about normal people, or does it mean, that normal people are worried about me? And if it can mean both, which one is the more common/proper meaning? And another question: is it right to say "people is"? Or should it rather be "are"? |

| "Normal people worry me" means that normal people give me cause for concern. They do, perhaps, cause me distress. "People" is a plural noun. It should be people are and not people is.
