People - Two Little Questions
Hi!
I would like to ask, what does this sentence mean: Normal people worry me? Does it mean, that I am worried about normal people, or does it mean, that normal people are worried about me? And if it can mean both, which one is the more common/proper meaning?
And another question: is it right to say "people is"? Or should it rather be "are"?

"Normal people worry me" means that normal people give me cause for concern. They do, perhaps, cause me distress.
"People" is a plural noun. It should be people are and not people is.
- People are going to be surprised when they hear that.
People are going to be shocked by the news.
People are the same the world over.
