| Is it all right to inlcude your title in the signature of an email? Despite being a lady, I am addressed as Mr. at times because I am an Indian with an Indian name which most people are not able to gender classify. Therefore, I decided to change my signature as follows: Ms. Parvathy Lakshmanan Am I right in doing so? Hope someone will help me out with my query. Thanks Paru |

Although my name is well known to anyone speaking German, (Lore) in the english speaking world it is often misunderstood and I have been addressed in letters etc. many times as Mr. So, what I generally do is to sign it as Lore S............. (Ms) I also do it that way when hand-writing something where I think the person reading it might not be familiar with the name. |
