hi Mr.China brother my adise is first you go through the fundamentals of english grammer(read simple grammer books like wrenn and martin) then go through the newspapers and read the editorials carefully and underline the words you can't understand and write down the meaning of that word in a seperate registrar with the help of a dictionary along with the sentence by doing so you can increase your vocabulary as well as grammer skills.

I think practise make the difference, during conversation, when I hear a word or any expressions I don't understand, the best way is to ask question and then you can hear explaination. Alson, I like to listen to the youtube video.

Post Re: How to learn english !

I think that the best way to learn English (or any language) is by using it. If you throw yourself into the deep end of English and start USING it to speak to people, to make phone calls to write emails etc you learn the language while you get rid of the fear of using the lanuage. If you learn English from a book you feel safe. You are sitting in your living room on the sofa with a coffee repeating the words that you are reading or writing...thinking that you are pronouncing them correctly. You gain confience but then when you try to use English in the real world you get nervous, scared and embarassed. If you use English while you are learning it. This does not become an issue. It is a sink or swim sort or senario.

I wrote an article describing different ways you can learn English, specifically for each area of the language...listening...speaking...reading...writin g. You can view that here How to Study English: Top 20 activities to do daily to learn English

Happy Learning!
Diana
