Seasons/Months

Dear All

This is my first ever time on a forum so please excuse me if I get things wrong. I am Training at the moment to be a CELTA teacher and have only taught for 1 and a half hours and I am a little stuck.
I have being checking website all night for ideas on how to teach this subject I have flash card and a quiz but seem to be stuck on actually explaining this topic,I'm brain dead !!!!

I would appreciate it very much if anybody could give me some ideas.

Do you knowm the nationalities/cultural backgrounds of your students? If so, check whether there are any who come from places with different seasons - where I live there are basically only two - which could cause difficulties.
