Hi,
I want to know how to pronounce words like 'Is this...' and how to pronounce words like 'with someone'?
Thank you.

We generally pronounce both consonants, though the /th/ in this may disappear in rapid or casual speech. For example, "Is that so?" often comes out as 'zat so? The /z/ may be held a little longer than it would otherwise be.

I suggest you practice phrases like is this and that's that. Start slowly with a pause between the words, then gradually increase the speed and reduce the pause.

It is better to pause a bit that to introduce an extra syllable, which speakers of some languages do. It is often a question of practice- try saying them in front of the mirror to get used to seeing how you're saying them.

Here are a couple of sentences to practice: Is this the droid you're looking for? Are these the droids that you're looking for?

And try saying months.

Or the months that really matter. OP, I'm sorry to tell you this but native Anglophones can articulate the cluster of consonants in months that.:)

I guess Americans tend to do the same. They are, though, generally able to articulate all those phonemes if asked.
