Are the parts marked by asterics correct?

"Whether it's better to read a book or watch a movie is an interesting question.
In modern society, where everyone has *an internet access,* many people prefer watching movies. While they are watching a film, they enjoy their favourite actors' play and colourful pictures on the big screen. People who prefer reading books imagine the situation, environment, characters in their heads. Sometimes when we see *the* director's version of the story, it doesn't live up to our expectations. *In such way* (the) directors change the plot of the movie and it becomes a different version of the book. It's difficult to say what is better - reading books or watching movies, because it depends on *the* people's individual choice."

I think "in such way" should be changed into "in such a case". Should it be "the directors change the plot" or "the director changes the plot" if I am not talking about a specific one?
