Can 2 people hold, as in hold each other, but without the "each other"? Does it lose its meaning?

Hi,
can I end a sentence with "when we hold", or "let's hold" in a romantic context, without following it with "each other" or "hands", so that it just ends with the word "hold", without losing its meaning (of holding each other)?
Thanks!

Hi.
C
an I end a sentence with "when we hold" no comma here or "let's hold", in a romantic context, without following it with "each other" or "hands", so that it just ends with the word "hold", without losing its meaning (of holding each other)?
Thanks! Unnecessary. Thank us after we help you, by adding the "Thanks" icon to any response you find useful.
No. That doesn't work.

Let's hug.
Let's cuddle.
Let's embrace.
Let's snuggle.

Great. Thanks for the clarification. But what about the song "Baby can I hold you tonight"? Does it only work one way, not mutually?
