[Grammar] Can we omit 'for' before 'a long time'?

Can we omit 'for' before 'a long time'?
Let's consider the following examples:

I've been waiting for a long time.
I've been waiting a long time.

I've lived here for a long time.
I've lived here a long time.

I've been here for a long time.
I've been here a long time.
