Hi,

Which one is correct? Thanks.

Company closed
Company ceased

Neither is likely to be correct. If these words are part of a sentence, please give us the complete sentence.

I want to say something like Company closed/ceased on 31 May 2022.

It isn't the company that is closed, but the business it used to carry on. Try "business closed". If the closure is permanent, say so. If it is temporary, give an estimate of the re-opening date.

In the UK, if a business closes forever, we say it "ceased trading on [date]".

Would these 2 sentences be fine?
ABC Company business closed on [date] permanently.
ABC Company has ceased trading on [date] permanently.

Business will close on xxx (date).

Business operation will cease on xxx (date).

"Trading" and "operation" of a business are two different things.

ABC Company has permanently ceased trading on [date]. permanently.
Don't use the present perfect with a timeline (on [date]).

Bonzo Inc permanently ceased trading on 7th November, 2021.
Bonzo Inc has permanently ceased trading.
