I need to write about this specific species of mushrooms, it' a blue mushroom that occasionally glows.

Which one would be the right one?
- Blue Glowing Mushroom
- Glowing Blue Mushroom

I've seen both forms being used in some material and I'm not sure which one is right.

Both are acceptable in some contexts. Kindly provide rhe actual sources and we'll try to help you more

1. You don't capitalize your description of the mushroom with adjectives.

2. Glowing blue mushroom sounds more natural and complies with the recommended order of adjective.

It's the name of the species of mushroom, as was made perfectly clear in the opening sentence of post #1. Therefore, the capitalisation is absolutely appropriate. A quick Google search for that mushroom, using the capitals, would have yielded the relevant result.

That is if he is trying to coin a name for the mushroom, which he has not decided on. They do not look like a name of a species of mushroom to me.

It certainly is not the name of the species. You don't need to be a mycologist to know that.

It seems that the OP is looking for a non-scientific way to describe it.
