Is "Cram exam helps her get through the exams" correct?

It could be correct if Cram exam is a proper noun (in which case "exam" should be capitalized).

I've never heard of a "cram exam". At school in the UK (when I was at school at least), we had "mock exams". These were exams taken about 4 months before the official exams, including questions from previous years' exam papers and designed to give students and teachers a rough idea of how well (or badly) each student was likely to perform in the actual exam later in the year.
That's about the only way I can imagine an exam helping someone get through their [real] exams.

I know 'cram schools' are popular in much of Asia in particular, so maybe it's a practice test used in cram schools?

Still, I would prefer the original sentence with either an article or a plural subject - 'Cram exams' or 'A cram exam'.
