Have I made any mistakes?

David was twenty-five and working for the Times when he was ordered to take up the post as a corespondent in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
"I couldn't think of a worse place," he said to Ben, his colleague. "That is a backwater of Europe. Nothing happens there."
"Don't be silly," Ben said. "I'd swap with you any day. I was there last year. Cheap booze, cheep excellent food, great sandy beaches, beautiful women... And you are a single! I envy you, mate."

You need to delete an article.

The London Times?

Yes, Tarheel, you are right. It is "The London Times," but is called just "The Times". Many say that is the best UK newspaper, but I don't like it because it supports the Conservatives, which can be seen from almost every article you read in the Times. As soon as a newspaper supports one party, it gives one-dimensional picture of the world. And I hate when journalists behave like propagandists, which nowadays they mostly do.

I believe I should delete "a" and write just "corespondent".

No, that's not the article Tarheel is talking about. Try again.

I believe "single" does not need an article at all.

Say:

You are single. (No a.)
