Hi teachers

I want to ask what is the difference between I am tired and I get tired, also same goes for other words such as bored, exhausted, etc. I knew it has a different grammar structure but in what case we can use them.

And when we say I am tired, do we understand this is a passive voice or not because tired is also an adjective. I am very confused.

Thank you for your help.

Please study my amendments to your punctuation.

"I get tired" doesn't work if you're talking about a single instance of being tired.

I am tired. (Tired now)
I was tired. (Tired in the past)
I got tired. (Became tired in the past)
I get tired when I jog. (Describes a habitual or repetitive state.)

"I get tired" doesn't work as a standalone sentence except in reply to a question such as "What happens when you go jogging?"

Perhaps danghuyn88 means to say I'm getting tired.
