Hello.
English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy told me they have the same meaning.
I want to ask native speakers: what's more common? I don't think that they're used equally (I really don't know how to write this sentence).
Fraze.it shows that the most popular is "drop off".
For me "doze off" seems better. It sounds more cool for me.
What do you think? What do you use in everyday conversation?
Boris.
