Hello.

I think "eligible" should not be used in my sentence.
Should I use another verb?
"Parents are eligible to avoid their children from making a wrong decision. It's natural."

Yes. I don't know which, because I have no idea what you want to say. "avoid their children from making a wrong decision" makes no sense.
I mean "eligible" seems to be wrong to me.

It is wrong, and so is "avoid their children from making a wrong decision".

The whole sentence needs rephrasing.

Yes, and I don't seem to find the correct expression or verb. I mean parents often tend to interfere. Maybe "Parents often tend to interfere in their children's decisions." "Parents try to help their children not to make a wrong decision."

How about:

It is only natural for parents to help their children steer away from making wrong decisions?

Is it wrong to use "avoid" here as well?

"It is only natural for parents to help their children avoid making a wrong decision."

That's possible.

It might be possible, but it doesn't make sense to me. Try:

Parents want to teach their kids how to make the right decisions.

That sounds okay to me. You might pluralize the end: making wrong decisions.

Using "A right decision" isn't wrong either, is it?

Can I omit "only"?

"It is only natural for parents to help their children avoid making a wrong decision."
Yes, but the meaning changes a bit.

In that context, it's used for emphasis: It's natural. It's simply natural, it's nothing but natural. it's clearly natural. It's just natural. It's completely natural. It's only natural.
