[Idiom] God-smack ????

I've just found this sentence in a U.S.A website article.. and I really don't understand...:
"He's already had a God-smack and he's going to try to get another one again."...

Thanks to you in advance.. to explain to me what is the meaning of "God-smack"

I've never heard it. Perhaps you mean "gob smack"?

Incidentally, Godsmack is an American rock band.

Sully Erna stated in a 1999 interview that "I was making fun of somebody who had a cold sore on his lip and the next day I had one myself and somebody said, It looks like God just smacked you in the face for making fun."
