Both are correct but mean different things. "Second-hand" is an adjective in the first but an adverb in the second.

"He bought a seond-hand car" is the same as saying he bought a used car.

Which one is correct?

1. He bought a second-hand car. OR
2. He bought a car second-hand.
When giving us more than one option, it's a lot clearer to lay them out as a list and number them. Not only does it negate the need for quotation marks and the word "or", but it also means you can make sure that each sentence ends with the appropriate punctuation mark.

You used a hyphen in "second-hand" in both sentence but not in your title. Please use the "Edit" facility to correct the title.
