can you explain the different between these words ?


  • terrible
  • lousy
  • horrible
  • awful



  1. The food was horrible.
  2. The food was terrible
  3. The food was awful
  4. The food was lousy.

i know these words have same meaning. but i don't know the exact meaning of these words. can you tell me when to use this word with some example. please don't copy past from dictionary . i need your help to clear my doubts.
