Is the following sentence correct?

I am keen on movies, and I often find myself watching them at home or going to the cinema, especially when I am feeling a little bit down.

Thank you.

I think only one 'I' is needed.

'I am keen on movies and often find myself watching them at home or going to the cinema, especially when feeling a little bit down.'

It is sometimes possible to omit nouns, but best for students to not take such shortcuts. The sentence as written does not sound redundant. I would accept the omission of the second I, but not the third.

Just to muddy the waters a bit, I would accept both versions. ;-)
