[Grammar] I called you thrice but you didn't hear to me

I've never heard anyone use it - except to comment on what a useless word it is.* As we're doing here.

*Like beverage.


1. I failed in driving exam thrice/ I failed thrice in driving exam.
2. Our maintanence visits for the copy maker will be thrice in a year.

I think that's a rather chauvinistic attitude. Millions of South Asians use it every day.

I sometimes say "Would you like to join me for an adult beverage?" It is perfectly normal in AmE.
