I have a lecture at nine tomorrow.

This sentence is from Oxford Learner's Dictionary. Does it mean I will attend a lecture, organize a lecture or give a lecture?

It's unclear.

What word is being exemplified by that sentence?

It is one of the example sentences for the word "lecture" in the dictionary. I have long wondered what the phrase 'have a lecture/speech' means. Does it mean to give or to listen to a lecture/speech?

Has/have a lecture just means someone is to be present at a lecture. The person could be giving or receiving the lecture.
