Hi.

Is the following sentence natural? Would native speakers use it? It's from my old notebook. I don't remember when and where I wrote this down.

I have been very happy with my work at SZ Foreign Trade Bureau. But I'm anxious to assume broader responsibilities in a growing company.

That's fine to me.

1- It would be better to combine the two parts in one sentence.
2- "Anxious" doesn't sit well with "very happy". Consider using something like "eager" instead.
3- I would use "larger" instead of "growing" in the above.

One of the meanings of "anxious" is "eager", is it not?

It can be, but it doesn't work well in the above.

Is it okay now? I asked because I'm not sure if there are some other mistakes in the sentence.

Yes, but don't forget the comma after "Bureau".
