Dear teachers,

Which sentence is correct?

1) I just received a miss call from you.

1) I just received a missed call from you.

Kam Shing

The second is correct, but you have numbered it wrongly.

I would say:

I missed your call.

Then don't call the person back. And don't say it.

BrE would use "got" as well as "received".

I just got a missed call from you.
I just got a missed call alert. Did you phone me?

Of course, you can also say "I just missed a call from you" - that's probably what I would say if I quickly rang the number back. The other two examples above refer, in the main, to spotting the alert on your phone that tells you someone rang and you either didn't hear it or couldn't answer.
